Just finished Oranges are Not the Only Fruit by Jeanette Winterson, and loving the Talking Heads' 1983 album Speaking in Tongues
“The story of Winterson's book is beautiful and realistic (likely because it's partially autobiographical), but her hard-hitting prose kept the narrative engrossing. Emotional and so so lovely! Also a classic feminist/LGBTQ+ text. Speaking in Tongues is giving summer and keeping me in a goofy mood :)”

The Bible (reading, not loving)
“I'm not religious, but I think it's fun to read as literature!”

Right now, I am loving Hozier’s new EP “Unheard.”
“Unheard” actually makes me feel heard. I feel like Hozier is singing directly to me and that his lyrics are personal and authentic. This new release is incredible and I recommend to Hozier fans but also to people who have never heard of Hozier, as this is a perfect representation of his talent.”

@motelstationery
“The unconventional typography paired with the unified style of imagery and color palette create a unique viewing experience on the social platform. the name evokes a specific vibe and gets you thinking about the messages we leave behind in the spaces we touch, even if only for the night -- just like motel stationery. it's an account that feels like a capsule of the human spirit and intrigue, wrapped up in a bow of a signature graphic design voice.”

Reading: Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte; Listening: Modest Mouse's This is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About.
Every spring I always come back to Modest Mouse's This is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About. I've loved this album for a long time and it always feels right to listen to as the weather starts to warm. Favorite song would have to be Dramamine. I have decided that for the spring I want to only read classics because of their immense inspiration on literature today and the vocabulary challenge they impose on their readers.
